Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘An Act To Amend the Laws Governing Pharmacy Interns’
Amend the bill by striking out all of section 1 (page 1, lines 2 to 20 in L.D.)
Amend the bill in section 2 in subsection 1 in the last line (page 1, line 27 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " supervision" the following: ' and who has obtained drug administration training pursuant to section 13832, subsection 3. A pharmacy intern may administer drugs and vaccines only to a person 18 years of age or older'
Amend the bill by relettering or renumbering any nonconsecutive Part letter or section number to read consecutively.

This amendment removes the provision that allows a pharmacist to administer certain vaccines to a person 9 years of age or older. It allows a pharmacy intern to administer drugs and vaccines to a person 18 years of age or older under a pharmacist's direct supervision, as long as the pharmacy intern has obtained drug administration training.
