An Act To Ensure Parity in the Collective Bargaining Process among State Institutions of Higher Education
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 26 MRSA §1026, sub-§1-A, as amended by PL 2003, c. 20, Pt. OO, §2 and affected by §4 and amended by c. 76, §2 and affected by §4, is repealed.
Summary
This bill removes the requirement that cost items in any collective bargaining agreement of community college employees be submitted for inclusion in the Governor's next operating budget and be subject to review by the Legislature.
