Resolve, Directing the Attorney General To Implement a Child Identity Protection Program To Safeguard the Personal Information of Minors and Prevent Identity Theft
Sec. 1. Child identity protection program. Resolved: That the Attorney General shall implement a child identity protection program to safeguard the personal information of minors and prevent identity theft. A parent or guardian may enroll a child in the program to help prevent the unauthorized use of that child's personal identifying information in the issuance of credit. The Attorney General may model the program on a similar program in Utah.
