Amend the resolve by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘Resolve, Authorizing the Commissioner of Administrative and Financial Services To Sell Property Located at 6 and 10 Arsenal Heights Drive on the Campus of the Former Augusta Mental Health Institute’
Amend the resolve in section 1 in subsection 1 in the 4th and 5th lines (page 1, lines 7 and 8 in L.D.) by striking out the following: ", to Motivational Services, Inc., a nonprofit corporation incorporated in the State"
Amend the resolve by striking out all of section 3 and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 3. Property to be sold "as is" and may be listed with broker or sold directly; commissioner may reject offers. Resolved: That the Commissioner of Administrative and Financial Services may negotiate and execute purchase and sale agreements upon terms the commissioner considers appropriate; however, the state property described in section 2 must be sold "as is," with no representations or warranties.
The commissioner may list the state property for sale with private real estate brokers and negotiate any sales, solicit bids and sell directly to purchasers. The commissioner may reject any offers.
Title must be transferred by quitclaim deed without covenant or release deed and executed by the commissioner; and be it further’
Amend the resolve in section 4 in the first line (page 1, line 38 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "lease or"
Amend the resolve in section 5 in the first line (page 2, line 3 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "or lease"
