Resolve, Directing the Department of Transportation To Conduct a Traffic Study To Consider Whether To Open Water Street in Augusta to 2-way Traffic
Sec. 1. Water Street in Augusta. Resolved: That the Department of Transportation, in consultation with the City of Augusta and affected residents, shall conduct a traffic study to consider the feasibility of reconfiguring Water Street in the City of Augusta to accommodate 2-way traffic; and be it further
Sec. 2. Report. Resolved: That the Department of Transportation shall submit a report on the results of its study to the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation no later than February 28, 2014. Upon its receipt and review of the report, the committee may submit a bill to the Second Regular Session of the 126th Legislature.

This resolve directs the Department of Transportation, in consultation with the City of Augusta and affected residents, to conduct a traffic study to consider the feasibility of reconfiguring Water Street in the City of Augusta to accommodate 2-way traffic.
