Resolve, To Equalize Tolls on Highways in the State
Sec. 1. Department of Transportation to make controlled access highway from South Portland to Gardiner a toll highway if additional lane is added. Resolved: That if Interstate 295 from South Portland in Cumberland County to Gardiner in Kennebec County is widened by adding an additional lane to the number of lanes on any portion of Interstate 295 that exist on the effective date of this resolve, the Department of Transportation shall make Interstate 295 a toll system and erect appropriate toll facilities; and be it further
Sec. 2. Rules. Resolved: That the Department of Transportation shall adopt rules to carry out the purposes of this resolve. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical rules pursuant to the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
