An Act To Assess a Fine on a Person Who Provides Misinformation on a Primary Candidate's Consent Form
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 21-A MRSA §336, sub-§4 is enacted to read:
4. False statement; fine. A person who intentionally or knowingly makes a false statement on a consent form commits a civil violation for which a fine of $2,000 may be adjudged.
