Amend the bill in section 1 in §1303 in the indented paragraph by striking out all of the underlined language (page 1, lines 13 to 16 in L.D.) and inserting the following: ' If the fair minimum wage for a trade falls at or above the mean value for a given wage determination, a contractor may allot wages and benefits for that trade in any proportion, as long as the sum of the hourly wage and benefit rate paid is not less than the sum of the appropriate hourly wage and benefit rate, determined in accordance with section 1308, and to the extent that the wage rate is otherwise in compliance with law and as long as the amount of money transferred from the fair minimum wage amount to the fair minimum benefit amount, for the purpose of calculating the total package amount, does not exceed 15% of the fair minimum wage amount for that trade.'
