Amend the bill in section 1 in §6728-C in subsection 2 in the 2nd line (page 1, line 7 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " are" the following: ' 5 or more'

This amendment gives the Commissioner of Marine Resources authority to establish by rule at the written request of a municipality in harbors where there are 5 or more moorings within that municipality dive-only areas in which a person may not fish for or take scallops by any means other than by hand. The bill does not specify a minimum number of moorings.
