An Act To Support Maine Businesses by Authorizing Certain Brewing Partnerships
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 28-A MRSA §2, sub-§2-B is enacted to read:
2-B. Alternating brewery proprietorship. "Alternating brewery proprietorship" means an arrangement in which 2 or more persons take turns using the physical premises of a brewery.
Sec. 2. 28-A MRSA §605, sub-§8, as amended by PL 1987, c. 623, §7, is further amended to read:
8. Application. This section does not apply to alternating brewery proprietorships regulated by the United States Department of the Treasury, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau or to certificate of approval holders.
