Additional costs
to Maine Maritime Academy, the University of Maine System, the Maine
Community College System, Jobs for Maine's Graduates, Inc., the Department of
Education, the Department of Economic and Community Development and the
Department of Professional and Financial Regulation associated with
implementing the requirements of this legislation can be absorbed within
existing budgeted resources. |

The Governor's
proposed budget for the 2014-2015 biennium, LD 1509, proposes the
establishment of 2 new programs within the Department of Corrections, the
Bolduc Correctional Facility and the Southern Maine Women's Reentry Center. The program names contained in Part C of
this bill may need to be amended based on final legisltative action on LD
1509. |
