The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation and a one-time Highway Fund allocation
of $118,983 and $114,317, respectively, in fiscal year 2013-14 to the
Department of Public Safety for the purchase of firearms. |

The bill also
requires that proceeds from the sale of firearms to current or former State
Police personnel be deposited within a dedicated account in the department to
be used to purchase replacement firearms. |
