This bill may
increase costs to the State in the future if the cost of living adjustment
increases the minimum wage to an amount higher than the established hourly
rate for a state employee at that time.
The impact of this potential future cost cannot be predicted at this
time. |

The Bureau of
Labor Standards within the Department of Labor will incur additional costs in
future biennia to implement and enforce the provisions of this legislation
that require the minimum wage to be automatically adjusted for inflation on
July 1st of every year beginning in July of 2017. |
