This legislation
prohibits herbicide spray on state-owned railroad lines that are abandoned or
discontinued. The department has
indicated that manual vegetation control on railroad lines would require a
Highway Fund allocation of $200,000 beginning in fiscal year 2013-14 based
upon the increased price of this type of vegetation control over herbicide
spray. |
