The Department of
the Secretary of State would require a General Fund appropriation of $67,773
in fiscal year 2013-14 and $67,675 in fiscal year 2014-15 for one Paralegal
position and related costs to perform internet searches and coordinate with
the Attorney General's Office to determine the accuracy of information on a
trademark application. |

The additional
costs to the Department of the Attorney General are expected to be minor and
can be absorbed utilizing existing budgeted resources. |
