|
This legislation
proposes to increase the Oxford and Hollywood Casinos' tax from 46% of net
slot income to 47.5% of net slot income and from 39% to 40.5%, respectively,
to provide funding for the Maine Veterans' Memorial Cemetery System Care
Fund. This will increase Other Special
Revenue Funds revenue by $1,122,906 in fiscal year 2013-14 and $1,512,938 in
fiscal year 2014-15. These amounts are
based on the December 2012 revenue forecast.
A corresponding Other Special Revenue Funds allocation would need to
be included in the bill to allow the funds to be spent. |
