The committee
amendment created the Renewable Energy Rebate Fund. This amendment changes
the name to the Solar Energy and Heat Pump Rebate Program Fund and the
allocations and transfers in the committee amendment are moved to the new
fund. The amendment expands rebates to persons for heat pumps, which may
increase the number of rebates given, but limits rebates given to persons,
only allowing rebates to persons eligible to participate in the Low-Income
Home Energy Assistance Program, which may reduce the number of rebates given. |
