This amendment
eliminates the General Fund appropriations in the bill of $58,350 in fiscal
year 2013-14 and $80,295 in fiscal year 2014-15 to the Regulation and
Enforcement program within the Department of Labor for one Labor and Safety
Inspector position and related all other costs and requires the department to
implement the requirements of this legislation within existing
resources. The Department of Labor has
indicated that the Regulation and Enforcement program will need additional
Labor and Safety Inspector positions due to the increased enforcement
activities required under this legislation.
The ability of the department to implement the requirements of this
bill within existing resources without impacting current programs and
services cannot be determined at this time. |
