	The Finance Authority of Maine may require General Fund appropriations if, through its collaboration with the Department of Education, the Department of Labor, postsecondary educational institutions and others, it is determined that it would be advantageous for the State to contract with a nonprofit corporation to market the Job Creation Through Educational Opportunity Program.  The amount and timing of the request for funding can not be determined at this time.
	Additional costs to the Department of Education, the Department of Labor and the State's public higher education institutions to implement the requirements of this legislation can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
