This bill expands
the application of the 3 cents per barrel fee on refined oil that is
transported by rail or highway to now include crude oil. According to the Department of
Environmental Protection, all rail and highway transporters of oil curently
pay the 3 cents per barrel fee and therefore no additional revenue is
anticipated to be realized from this change in fee assessment. |
