The Public
Utilities Commission (PUC) is directed to review the rates of basic local
flat-rate dial-tone service, referred to as the provider of last resort, and
conduct emergency rate case proceedings in response to petitions from
providers requesting expedited approval of rate increases by the PUC. The PUC has adequate available resources
for the expenses related to the activities required. |
