Adding back the
provision in current law that allows mediators to be paid on a per
dispute-mediated basis is not expected to have a fiscal impact on the Maine
Labor Relations Board. |

This amendment adds an Other Special Revenue
Funds allocation of $32,058 to the Maine Labor Relations Board in fiscal year
2014-15 for the cost associated with the increase in payments to members of
the Panel of Mediators from $100 to $300 for up to 4 hours of mediation
services provided and from $100 to $300 for each consecutive period of up to
4 hours thereafter. As this bill was
not referred to committee, no opportunity was available to add the required
allocation section. |
