Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $2,332,316 in fiscal year 2026 and $4,566,103 in fiscal year 2026-27 to refund the State portion of estate recovery under the MaineCare program effective January 1, 2026 and for 2 Reimbursement Specialist positions and educational materials. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations for the positions and the educational materials will also be required for the FMAP match.
