|
|
This bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation to the Department of Health and Human
Services of $300,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 to provide funding to the
Christine B. Foundation to support a research project to evaluate the impact
of access to medically tailored groceries and dietician counseling on cancer
patients and their families.
The department suggested that the funding in this bill be moved from the
0228 - Purchased Social Services account to the 0143 - Maine Center for Disease
Control and Prevention account. This change would not impact the amount of
funding provided in the bill. |
