§14. Hard cider sold by wine or malt liquor licensees

Retail sales.
Notwithstanding any provision of this Title to the contrary, a person licensed to sell malt liquor for on-premises or off-premises consumption may also sell hard cider. All provisions of this Title applicable to malt liquor, except chapter 65, apply to hard cider when hard cider is sold by persons licensed to sell malt liquor for on-premises or off-premises consumption. Nothing in this subsection prohibits a person licensed to sell wine for on-premises or off-premises consumption from selling hard cider.

2.
Wholesale sales.
Notwithstanding any provision of this Title to the contrary, a person licensed under section 1401 as an in-state wholesaler of malt liquor may also sell and distribute hard cider. Nothing in this subsection prohibits a person licensed under section 1401 as an in-state wholesaler of wine from selling and distributing hard cider.
