§954-D. Additional powers and duties

In order to implement this chapter, the commission may, in addition to the powers and duties otherwise authorized by this chapter:
A.
Adopt an official seal;

B.
Compel attendance of witnesses and require production of evidence;

C.
Designate or request municipal, state or federal agencies to receive applications, provide assistance, make investigations and submit recommendations;

D.
Conduct joint hearings with municipal officers or other appropriate state or local agencies where joint approval may be required; and

E.
Sue and be sued in its own name, plead and be impleaded.
