This web site is designed to provide easy access to the most up-to-date information
available regarding safety concerns, adverse weather conditions and other emergencies
that may affect the Maine Legislature, State House and other legislative activities.

If an emergency situation arises, information regarding the emergency and how to
respond will be posted here.

The goal of this site is to maximize communication in order to minimize the risks to
legislators, members of the public, and legislative employees during an emergency.
Response plans are in place for emergency situations.
