Dirigo -  A shared catalog that includes the holdings of the Maine State Law and Legislative Reference Library, the Maine State Library, Portland Public Library, and Bangor Public Library.

MaineCat - A service of InfoNet. Includes a combined statewide catalog that includes Dirigo and Minerva participants and the catalogs of Bates, Bowdoin, and Colby, Portland Public, Maine College of Art, Maine Maritime, University of New England.

Minerva - The "Maine Info Net Electronic Resources via Automation" . . . a single resource built from online catalogs of a growing list of Maine libraries, including public, academic, medical, and special libraries. Included in Maine InfoNet.

WorldCat - The world's largest network of library content and services.

 

DATABASES

Westlaw Edge-  Access to primary and secondary source content for all 50 states and the federal government, including important legal publications like American Law Reports, legal encyclopedias, major legal treatises, and legal periodicals. Access in library only.

HeinOnline -  Historical coverage of state and federal primary source law, early English case law, legal treatises, and legal periodicals, including full-text searchable Maine session laws (1820-present) and Maine Bar Journal (formerly the Maine Bar Bulletin).  Access in library only.

LLMC Digital -  Electronic access to manuscript Maine House and Senate Journals (1820-1853) and full-text searchable published Journals (1854-1925) as well as numerous historical reports that are not part of the Library’s collection. Access in library only.

VitalLaw-  Digital collection of major legal treatises published by Wolters Kluwer, such as Americans with Disabilities Act Handbook, Wigmore on Evidence, and Administrative Law Treatise. Access in library only.

Digital Maine Library (formerly MARVEL!) - A collection of Gale and other research databases available to residents of Maine. Part of the Maine InfoNet Project.

AnswerConnect - Wolters Kluwer’s online legal research platform dedicated to tax content, including access to Maine Tax Reporter, federal and state tax laws and rules, federal tax guidance, and tax-related periodicals.
