§402. Aid required by officer; refusal
1.
Officer may require aid.
Any law enforcement officer may require suitable aid in the execution of official duties in criminal and traffic infraction cases for the following reasons:

For the preservation of the peace; or

B.
For apprehending or securing any person for the breach of the peace or in case of the escape or rescue of persons arrested on civil process.

Violation and penalty.
Any person required to aid a law enforcement officer under this section who neglects or refuses to do so commits a civil violation for which a forfeiture of not less than $3 nor more than $50 to be paid to the county may be adjudged.
