§750. Violations
1.
Violation.
A person, firm or corporation may not violate this subchapter or a rule adopted pursuant to this subchapter.

2.
Penalty.
The following penalties apply to violations of this section.
A.
A person who violates subsection 1 commits a civil violation for which a fine of not more than $500 may be adjudged.

B.
A person who violates subsection 1 after having previously violated subsection 1 commits a civil violation for which a fine of not more than $1,000 may be adjudged.

3.
Application.
This subchapter may not be construed as requiring the commissioner or the commissioner's agent to report for suit or for the institution of seizure proceedings as a result of minor violations of this subchapter when the commissioner believes that the public interest will be best served by a suitable notice of warning in writing.
